I dont think he would, it would be a shoot out and Lee could chin Jacobs just as easy as the other way round.

I don't know why Jacobs is so underrated. Everyone seems to think he is a chinny plodder. How have I missed all his vulnerabilities that everyone else seems to see ? :) He is for me probably the second best at 160 -an excellent all round boxer puncher. He is in a different league to Andy. I give Andy no chance at all against Jacobs.

As much as Jacobs is being underrated by some i feel he is being slightly over estimated by you,
He is as you say skilled and can pop but his frailties just like Andy are his defence and his chin,
So not as clear cut as you make out although Jacobs would enter as favourite,
Definetly a fight where the first big shot landed could decide the outcome,

I don't agree with you. There would be no "first big shot". Andy would just be out boxed in every department.why do people always trot out that line about the " first big shot" deciding fights? It almost never happens. Remember lee quillin? People said the same thing about that fight.....and in that case it was possible, but didn't happen then either...

Well i am trotting it out in this case because both men have scored big one punch knockouts in ther past and have been dropped with big one punch shots in the past therefore for this particular match up it is relevant,
Plus if BJS couldnt totally outbox Andy, Jacobs certainly wont,
(BJS has a better set of skills than Jacobs)

Did you see his fight with Mora?

Who would you give Andy Lee a chance against?

I did. Impressive win for Jacobs wasnt it?

Andy has a chance against BJS! He only narrowly lost, remember.
Really though Andy should walk slowly away now with his head held high (just like he boxed - walking slowly around the ring with his head held high...)

Frampton on points wins first 6 or 7 then quigg comes into fight nicks a couple last rounds finishes stronger then wouldnt be suprised in slightest if they give the draw!!!

On another note quality spar in gym today with Ormond and Ray Molette. See better sparring in gym than most shows! and for anyone interested dropping over everybody more than welcome to watch.

luke whats the story with moylette? looked skillful in his apb debut but just looked like he hadnt enough time to get his fitness levels up for 6 rounds. does he have another apb fight lined up so he can go to the wsb/apb qualifiers? or is he thinking of going pro

I agree Frampton nicks early rounds, and I agree I can see Quigg coming back in middle rounds - but I have a question:

Why do you say Quigg finishes stronger?

Do you question Framptons engine, or is it just that Quigg is naturally bigger and maybe stronger????
