    I watched a documentary yesterday about that.. In the 90s there was a ton of activity there. In one case the feds were investigating a small car theft ring, and they uncovered an international military grade weapons trade while dealing with these two Lithuanian gangsters involved in the ring. They got too deep and two gangsters were arrested before the deal could be finalized... Another guy this Russian-Israeli Jew 'Tarzan' was in the process of buying a $100M submarine capable of firing missiles before the feds busted him, he testified against a bunch of his buddies before receiving a slap on the wrist and was then deported to Israel.
