Saunders does seem highly disappointed that he over priced himself.

He'll make a defense, early summer, be LUCKY to make 700K, and be kicking himself, especially knowing that all the ABC titles will be tossed aside late 2017, early 2018 when GGG goes N to 168.:patsch

For the poll, I picked Jacobs.
A mandatory defense of GGGs super MW title is at Jacobs leisure, that is unless GGG imposes it first, which he well may, if Canelo can not be made.

As for a fight with BHOP, at say 169.....I suppose it would be a good stay busy fight for GGG in July.

He's not the kindof fighter who needs 5 months between camps and 2 months rest after a fight.

Unfortunately for him, that's what this whole WBC debacle has created, a stall in GGGs quest for greatness.

While the BHOP fight may end his KO streak, it may just give Canelo the confidence to step in with GGG in May of 2017, by which time GGG very well may, and quite possibly could have Wade, Hopkins(169) Jacobs, and Saunders in before that time.

During the same period, Alvarez will have beaten Khan, and possibly Cotto or Bradley/Pac winner.
    Just guessing. :think

Are you trying to make it sound like Murray is an ATG?. He was a good opponent and that's as far as he goes. Compared to the countless bums GGG fought, Murray is the only one that stands out. If that's impressive to you, then dance away.

It's Canelo, more likely than not.

I have no idea what leads you to believe this - ESPECIALLY since GGG's team is even so desperate that they are publicly admitting they're considering 51 year old Bernard, coming off what will be a nearly 2 year layoff coming off a terrible one-sided loss.

To me, this indicates that GGG's team has already accepted the fact they don't have the pull to make the Canelo fight happen.

If it's FMJ, it will be at 150 or less.

Kell Brook has also offered to fight him at 155.

    That's a great fight.

Sulaiman has said in a recent ESPN interview that another interim fight for both GGG and Canelo is possible if they agree to it.

So yeah, 2016 just ain't the year for it :verysad

The writing has been on the wall for this one for awhile.

MAYBE the WBC might strip Canelo, but I think that's extremely unlikely - although not as unlikely as the Canelo-Golovkin fight actually taking place in September.

Loeffler has already said they're not going to agree to another voluntary.

If Oscar handed them a step-side check for 2mil they might change their mind.
