Crazy boxing weekend we have coming up

I just have a really hard time accepting such a big goofy oaf as the heavyweight champion of the world. :yep

I mean, I had plenty of issues with Klitschko being "the man", but I would rather a stiff weak-chinned robot prone to panic attacks (but who at least has the fundamentals down and can throw a proper straight combination as well as can be done) be on top of the world than someone as sloppy as the Self-Uppercutting Gypsy! :!:

 

These are supposed to be the exciting times for the division but It's kinda sad too. We have three titlists and none of them are fully capable of putting two punches together.

 

And It's really hypocricy that the same people who'd been bashing at Wlad for being boring and now praising Fury. At least with him you know that one punch can end the fight anytime. We won't have that with Fury.

 

Yeah. I mean, that's great that all of them are youngish (at least assuming by "three" you meant Wilder, Fury & Martin - ignoring the farcical interim & regular WBA title situation, because Ortiz, Chagaev and Browne are old farts) and have WWE-ready "mic skills" and personalities to draw in casual fan interest... but man, what a deplorably low threshold of combined boxing skill they have. :-(

Try to imagine the skill combination including the regular champ if Browne somehow beats Chaggy. :dead

 

The door would be open for the UFC heavyweight champ to come in and completely humiliate the boxing fandom by winning a title in his debut. (and I wouldn't put it past the likes of Haymon to broker a deal with Dana White to put on such a circus act)

 

I can see Miocic or Werdum outboxing Browne as well... In fact I think both guys have put on striking performances in the UFC that>>>>> anything Browne has done

 

Does anyone happen to know the reason Rivas failed his eye exam ?
