    Keith Holmes from 1990-2000 (before meeting Hopkins);

    Height: 6' 2"
    Reach: 78"

    Wins:
    TKO over Robert McCracken for WBC MW title
    TKO over Richie Woodhall for " " "

    50/50 fight and most competitive Golovkin has even thought about. Although not a huge puncher Holmes is still the best puncher/boxer Golovkin would have faced.

    Those responding posters please provide ****ysis and not the simple minded typical, "GGG would KO him" absent minded response.

    The probability of Kieth Holmes escaping the match without being koed is in all likelihood marginal at best

    Troll response lacking credibility.
    With a record of 41-5, Holmes has never lost by KO'ed in his career. :nut

    Very interesting that many people don't know who Keith Holmes was, yet they'll respond with, "GGG by KO". :rofl

    I've done my research on Holmes, dude was a good rangy southpaw with decent pop and an Iron chin, I see him frustrating and out boxing Golovkin to win a decision.

    This is exactly what I think also.

    Because of his limited level of opponents Golovkin has not been in the ring with anyone like Keith who could box, use his height and jab, and also had more pop in his punch than any past Golovkin opponent. Being a tall southpaw would also be an advantage, and he could take a punch and wouldn't fall down like GiGi's previous opponents. :smoke

    I think because of your location, you'd probably be a good parachute to a career in some area of boxing. Your location has no boxers but that's a plus in parachuted boxing jobs. :good
