Wilder has definitely proved himself a great fighter, he's legit one of the best heavy weights right now...but this is Povetkins fight imho. Look forward to it. Great year for heavy weight division

Even if he loses (which he probably will) that doesn't mean his career is over.

No... But without a belt and that 0 his stock will plummet... His handlers won't be as inclined to protect him ether. I think he would probably become a fringe contender for a couple of years.

If Wilder loses I see his homeboys talking him into leaving Dibella and Haymon and "trying it on his own". "Cause Deontay, you the champ! These guys not respecting you! Look what they did in the purse bid!"

And that's the beginning of his journeyman career.

this... and i admit i was one of them. dont get me wrong povetkin is a hell of a fighter but he isnt as effective against tall fighters. so wilder hasnt just got a puncher chance but he can also outbox him from the outside easy..

No, not at all. It's just that all it needs for Wilder to get knocked out is an opponent with a pulse :D

I agree that Wilder was effective from the outside against Stiverne BUT...Povetkin is no Stiverne and shouldn't be dehydrated on fight night. It will be lights out for Wilder.

If he's so sure to knock him out, hope he will back up his words and go to Russia :deal

Wilder was a fraud and partly still is. He got his belt and then started to up his competition. He gets better every fight. I think the Povektin fight is one he is going to win and also one where he actually becomes a world title level boxer. I don't think the Wilder from the Stiverne fight would have beaten Povektin.

Sort of a shame how stuff like this happens. Povektin is more deserving of having a world title then Wilder, Martin, or Joshua. Speaking of Joshua, He will work his way to to World title level while having a world title as well.
