Andre Ward makes 4 major mistakes which Kovelev will capitalize - John Johnson

He isn't a fraud but he didn't clear out 168...

 

There's video of Kovalev practicing Greco-Roman wrestling and grappling in camp. Ward is astute on the inside but at the same time all of his opponents have been totally inept at it Kessler, Froch, Green, AA.....except for Bika. Sakio isn't particularly skilled but he at least doesn't mind being there and thast was a very competitive and close fight contrary to the Oakland scorecards.

 

Bones has dropped a couple of good fighters Ward ain't the only one

 

Kovalev could target the big willy Ward has in the middle of his forehead. :deal

 

I'm trying to envision a way Ward could win this. One thing is if Ward has gained a lot more power as a LHW. He needs to be able to push Kovalev backwards.

 

The Bika fight was a hilarious foul festival. I wonder what that fight looked like from the nosebleed seats and without the jumbotron TV.

 

It seems LTG Johnson has a Master's degree in strategic studies, this guy knows what he's talking about.:deal

Ward is a clown

 

I think I gave Bika 4 rounds in that fight on my scorecard. I should watch it again and rescore it. Man that's going to take a few drinks and a smoke before I watch. Sometimes it can be hard to score two grapplers.

 

Ward gets paid $2 million per show. That's an expensive clown!

 

only for that fool Jay Z. The rest of the world don't pay for tickets and, like you said, need a drink and a smoke to watch him on free tv. but most of them would rather watch gilligan's island, even after a bottle of scotch and a weed

 

1. That's Kovalev's trainer... so this is expected.
2. Everyone makes mistakes, including Kovalev. It'd be nice to know specifically what Ward does that he's referring to.

I still think this is a very interesting fight and a unique challenge for both men. I don't understand why people think Ward lacks courage or is afraid. With his poor 2013-2015, he really needs a tuneup before facing Kovalev.

 

Bell rings , Ward headbutts Bika, ref says nothing. Bika does the same and Ward complains to the ref and Bika gets a stern warning. That was pure comedy! Jack Reiss is so biased that its really sickening. He is almost as bad as Lawrence Cole. But Cole is just a pure fock up whilst Reiss seems like a guy who accepts envelopes with cash in them.

 

I have also been scratching my head and have been left wondering what these mistakes are. Somebody out there other than JDJ must know?
