I don't think Ward is as good as people say. I think Kovalev and Stevenson whip his axx. I have a hard time believing he can get by Fonfara or Cleverly. I think Ward has his work cut out for him against Barrera. If Barrera can get by Ward he has big money coming. Barrera has some real power he has ko'd 6 straight true LH's. I think Barrera will surprise everybody. Ward cant hurt anybody with those weak ass punches. Boone dropped Ward brutally, Bika whipped up on him. Ward is a decision machine. Green, Kessler, Abraham, Froch, those guys are pound for pound nothing. Froch thats it and he struggled against Bute and Groves. This will be no easy task I guarantee it.

Tbh I think a Ward vs Stevenson fight would be more exciting than Ward vs Kovalev. Its also a bigger money fight for the fighters. Which leaves me asking why Ward doesn't fight Adonis and make that money? Kovalev isn't going anywhere and Adonis is getting old. To me it would make more sense for Ward to fight Stevenson first then fight Kovalev.

Its not supposed to be an easy fight. This guy is supposed to make Ward work a little.

Seeing as how in all likelihood Barrera would have a 17-0 17 KO's record has his earlier matches gone beyond 4 and 6 rounds, when most of Barrera's KO's take place, yeah there's a really decent he will.

Only person I could make an argument for on Barrera's resume lasting the distance would be the durable chinned Godfrey...!!!

But other than that, I agree whole-heartedly...!!!

Unlikely because Barrera is a hype job.

But what needs to be tested before Ward's chin is his PED use.

Yeah but they weren't 6'2 Light Heavyweights and didn't have power edge to muscle Ward and wear him down.

Good point. I give him credit if he ever does fight Kovalev because Kovalev will knock him the fxck out by 8 rounds.

Yeah Barrera can crack, he can muscle around on the inside and is a decent fighter technically. but I expect Ward to outclass him here. Barrera is nothing special at the end of the day. If he beat Ward, it would be a gigantic upset forreal.
