Anyone catch that gem of a quote from Carl Froch last night

    When he was talking with Amir Khan about his tactics for Canelo. He said something like:

    "Floyd Mayweather did that. But nobody else is like Floyd Mayweather except for him because he's Floyd Mayweather".

    Would kill to see a vine of this. Why do they bring this guy on to talk about boxing when he admittedly doesn't watch much of it?

    The funny one for me was post fight froch said it was "even stevens after the first 4" nelson replies "really?!, even tho frampton was the busier and controlling the tempo"....froch then says "exactly" in reply!! Certainly aint the brightest fella is carl eh lol...hell of a battler tho maybe it was all those head shots he soaked up in his career!

    Froch is living proof great or good fighters don't always make good commentators ala Lennox 'the lion' Lewis.

    Basically he's stealing a living and Sky are facilitating it. If he can't be bothered as a TV ****yst to spend a little of his spare time reading magazines, watching fights and generally being a professional he should concentrate on his property business which is clearly something he is interested in. He could do 60 minute makeover with Peter Andre. Sky don't really care about boxing. It's a means to an end - ppv. They never advertise Saturday Fight Nights which is why their ratings are dismal. Honestly getting between 60000 and ( if they are lucky ) 200000 for an arena show on a Saturday night is pathetic. The sports not booming like Eddie Hearn says and I love the sport - it's like Darts but not so popular. Eddington Skeete and the Yafai brothers won't do 100000 on TV and to be fair it probably shouldn't .
