Campbell in december.....quigg last night. ....whos next.....quigg needed a tough fight coming into this....but eddie and his £ brain cashed out on quigg i.m.o
Not sure quigg was exposed last night. Nerves and a poor game plan cost him last night. Not to mention facing a top class fighter in Frampton. Once joe (way too late) stressed the urgency of the situation, quigg had little trouble stepping it up and he was more than a match for carl......makes the first 7 rounds more frustrating. Think Joshua will be exposed soon though
God sort yourself out. A loss in a world title fight isn't being 'exposed'. No wonder promoters and television obsess over unbeaten records when clowns like you emerge to gloat after every loss a guy ever suffers.
Matchroom really do have an average stable atm. All good solid pro,s but none of them deserve to be on ppv. Could maybe at a push if hes got all his fighters on against good opposition including joshua. But that last nite was fleecing the fans. Same with bellew v cleverly. Joshua against whyte then that last nite. Quigg and frampton decent fighters but no better than that. Much like most of britains world title holders atm. I like hearn but some of the stuff he comes out withs incredible and his insistance on ppv for anything thats not 2 novices fighting is a step back for the progress hes made since the ****** days. I dont think many would mind paying for genuine ppv stars who have served there time working their way up against good opposition. But hes getting greedy just sticking them on for anyone now. Quigg v frampton have only really fought that martinez. And for all the talking about how good martinez is he looks pretty average to me. The only way to even consider it a ppv is with a stacked card. What happens is they tell you how its the biggest fight in british boxing for 30 years enough times then we start to justify it as ppv. If the fight was a complete barnstormer last nite its still not ppv material. We talk about world champions etc. But its no worth much nowadays when theirs politics at play. Aiming for the path of least resistance. Manipulating rankings. Avoiding the big players. And the sheer amount of belts these days. What we got last nite was two decent enough fighters at best. Lets stop kidding ourselves on that they re world beaters. That frampton almost got derailed against the pretty average american in his last outing. I m finished with the ppv for now...including joshua who,s still learning really.
whos gloating....since the salinas fighy were quigg drew...hea been fed absolute fodder...and a shot to bits martinez.....frampton did very little in the first 6 and won every round...so i.m.o...quigg was exposed.....the split decisión was onky to try force a ré match. ....obviously a lil judge payoff
No one said quigg us a bum. ...but hws been exposed...his fight ing style and approch waa terrible. ...
So none of the best fighters in the World ever make a wrong decision, or lose a decision ? Quigg and his team made a tactical error, and they corrected it too late in the fight. The result had absolutely nothing to do with Quiggs fighting style.
You are clearly just a hater.. One of them guys that hates for the sake of it and can't stand seeing matchroom fighters make money. Quigg wasn't exposed at all. You can't tell me with a straight face that he looked out of his depth. Gallagher got the tactics wrong and quigg had a bad night. It happens in boxing. He will be back no doubt and be ready for world level fights.
No doubt he will be in more fights....quigg has flaws...its boxing noy a fitness comp....all yhe quigg has a great engine ****....the bottom lone is eddie hearn has matched him against fodder and that hasnt helped....same with kell brook....brilliant fighter but sham record. .....boxers with a greater ring knowlage will ALWAYS beat Scott
Quigg exposed. Really? 12-18 months ago Quigg never had a chance according to many. Boxing fans really need to get away from treating defeats as the end. Losing is the name of the game. Quigg lost to a very good fighter not some scrub.
Good point regarding losses being viewed as the end of the road and for that reason not many close or 50/50 fights are made. fans and the media play a large part in saying a fighter is done because he lost. and promoters think twice before letting letting a fighter fight top fighters partly because of this
Jesus, if Quigg has been 'exposed', Frampton may as well hang up his gloves or stay put at this level......
