As I said on the other thread, it must have been really sh!t money to end up with Guinn.
    I hope it's not true.

They really must have offered ustinov peanuts.

They should be looking at someone like at Edmund gerber atleast!

The BBBOC English title circular of 10 February shows Hennessy promoting the English title fight between McDermot v Fury no date for the bout though.

No a great fight because of McDermot being so inactive but he gave Tyson 2 hard fights and was robbed first time which adds an angle + a 1st title

I'm a fan of Hughie but getting a bit tired of the lack of quality opposition .

The same Guinn who pulled out of the fight against Whyte in September as he thought he wasn't getting paid enough to be knocked out? If true this is very poor by Hughie and Peter. Don't talk up the prospect of a good opponent and then fight Guinn.

Trouble is they were talking about a top 10 opponent. However agree that it would be good for an up and coming fighter to KO Guinn as he is obviously tough.

Guinn is 40, was never much more than a fringe contender journeyman, and hasn't had a fight since 2013.
Unless you want to count a 1st round TKO over an 8-28 cruiserweight, and that was 12 months ago.

To be fair, Peter Fury has had trouble matching Hughie by all accounts.... they've made offers and approached many fighters but nothing's come off.
