Don't think anyone's saying he DIDN'T win the fight, rather, it just shows how poor quality the fight was. Very disappointing.
If his defence is that bad what does that say about Frampton not being able to put away a fighter with a porous defence and broken jaw? Also prior to the fight a lot of posters on here were claiming that Quigg was chinned, yet despite a broken jaw he was never even remotely rocked during the fight.
Quigg wasnt rocked once. It was frampton holding on for dear life for 3 rounds looking to his corner to save him. Luckily his mate the ref helped him there. Frampton deserved winner. Probably yes. Did the broken jaw play a part. Again yes. No honour your agreement and rematch a close fight in Belfast. Don't see that happening somehow. Frampton spouting on about feeling sorry for rigo because quigg wouldn't fight him. So will Carl fight him now. Nope that won't happen either
The stats say a lot... I sense a lot of biased Irish and of Irish descent people on here. Frampton did NOTHING in the first half too.. it was a non event for 6 rounds. You have to give credit to Quiggs defence by scoring at LEAST 3 of those rounds 10-10
