indeed they did But Louis was preventing Baer from trespassing his range. Basically what I'm trying to say is that they opened his face like a watermelon.
I barely have time to do these videos, so I usually just do what I feel like at the time. But I'll see if I can do something for those guys.
You should! If you have an idea of what you want to make, thats the best way to start. I use Final Cut, a video editing program to make my videos. I learned how to do everything just searching google. It's easy to get into.
Joe Louis is a stalker. But not in this fight. Louis relied on his jab, counters, and crazy power to defeat Baer. He didn't walk him down, and that's because Baer is a Foreman like hitter.
I've always like Joe Louis's jab, and this fight he really shows its power, knocking Baer back like that. But Baer was easy to hit with jabs. Generally he didn't mind eating jabs. Against most boxers he'd wear them down regardless, but Louis had a lot of power in that jab.
It should be noted that Final Cut is for Mac. PC users will need to look at something like Adobe Premiere Pro.
:goodThat's right....Louis showed better footwork in this fight than ever before or since. He looks scary-good vs Max Baer.
That's actually true. I watched this the other night again and Louis was on his toes, bouncing and stepping in and out FAR more than he did after this fight, in other fights. I wonder if that's because of Baer's reputation as a puncher or what? I don't think, at least until Marciano, Louis faced another hitter like Baer.
Definitely. Baer punched like Foreman. Straight up, lackluster defense, but with mack truck punching.
