I mean I understand that he believed that Tyson had inappropriately touched his little sister or something like that, but Tyson was only a 16 year old kid. Teddy was a 26 year old grown man. Why did he need a gun for kid? Why didn't he just rough Tyson up with his barehands and teach him a lesson?
He was big boy, but he was still just a boy. Teddy should have showed Tyson was he was the teacher and took him to school.:bbb
He was making joke referencing Tyson's rant at the Lewis press conference when he went off the reporter who screamed "get him straight jacket".
Tyson at 16 would crush the tyson at 26, never mind a very small and completely out of fight shape with mind and especially body of teddy. Age has to be put in perspective most times
Because Teddy is a psychopath. As noted, he admits he took a gun to Donnie Lalonde's residence and planned to kill him ... That's different than "I was so mad I wanted to kill him" -- he actually went out with a plan and a weapon to do it. Donnie wasn't home or Teddy Straightjacket would be in Singsing.
He obviously wanted to scare mike. Being a boxer and all, the threat of being beaten up isn't going to work.
