Eddie is saying he will be back in Glasgow in May if nothing falls through.

Rumours doing the rounds is that this again could be at 140 and possibly for a title.

    Thoughts?

Personally I'm delighted we will be getting a show back in Glasgow.

  2. Title? Presumably the Celtic title as he doesn't deserve anything more than that.

140LBS Against Michelle Di Rocco for the WBA Scott Quigg type regular paper belt , an absolute joke tbh , they clearly stated after Figueroa Ricky was nowhere near a lightwelter fighter , this ruins his wbo #3 ranking its a total f****

Burns looked good in his last fight at LWW and is more than big enough for the weight, I think he beats Di Rocco quite comfortably.

I cant see the Flannegan fight ever happening for political reasons.

think you'll manage to get anyone on the show? maybe brophy?

how do you see burns getting on against di rocco?

i fancy burns to win a close fight and get back on the world stage but if he gets beat then its the junk yard for the rickster:good:good

looks like limond vs nurse will be on the card too, i hope willie reclaims the british but think he might get outpointed by nurse who moves well and could maybe frustrate him for a majority decision.

hopefully see joe ham and even josh taylor if they can get mcguigan to agree to let him on the show

I'm assuming the Morrison managed will be on the bill, Chuck Flynn, Joe Ham and Stewart Burt.

Burns is no where near done. He still has it in him to show some of these domestic and Euro pretenders who's boss.

Burns was, I's and allway's will be a class act.

If the rumours about Cyclone Promotions striking a deal with C5 are true, I don't think we can expect to see Josh Taylor on the bill.

As has been said Morrison provided quite a lot of fighters to make up Burns previous cards with Sky so I'd imagine they'll make up the majority of the card with the odd fringe contender from the Matchroom stable being relatively high up on the bill.
