Just read this weeks Boxing News. Joe Gallagher was the guest columnist, and after moaning about 'everyone being an expert', he actually claimed that the crowd was too loud for Quigg to hear his instructions during the early rounds. Yes, Joe Gallagher says the crowd watching a fight that had been built up by the Sky hype machine for months was too loud. That is the most feeble excuse I've ever heard and makes himself look a total buffoon. The man happily took the plaudits time after time when things were going well, in a losing effort he MUST hold his hands up and admit fault. Anything less makes him appear an ungracious chancer.
So basically saying quigg has zero boxing IQ as frampton also wouldn't have heard what his corner said yet he bossed quigg in those early rounds? Was quigg not able to hear him in the corner for those first 6 rounds? Colin warnock of boxing this man
If wanted it a bit quieter then they could have started with that band they brought along. What a numpty
In between rounds Gallagher was telling Quigg he was "boxing beautifully" until he checked a TV screen at the start of Round 8. Gallagher might have got away with his feeble excuse if it wasn't for those pesky Sky mikes!:clown
