    I think Armstrong could close distance on McLarnin, and his crowding would take McLarnin out of his comfort zone...Armstrong wide decision for me.

    Fascinating matchup...

    I think Armstrong can pressure him... I don't think McLarnin can keep him off... The counter punching though... McLarnin would be the bigger man but I don't think enough to make a difference... had it happened when it could have, McLarnin all the way

    You surprised me there Red, you know your boxing though so its making me think. The early McLarnin were told was abit more of a mover until he found he had a right hand. Can't see him holding off hammering hank or being able to stay out of his way myself.

    What I mean is, if it could've happened it would have been in the mid '30s when Armstrong was too small to pull it out (I think).

    Prime for prime is a different, and less interesting matter.
