Páez, Jr is drawing his arm back, cocking it and slamming in hard body hooks. Margarito is pumping uppers and dribbling both gloves off Páez, Jr.'s chin. Solid triple left hook downstairs by Páez, Jr., sitting down on them, getting a respectful nod from Margarito. Endless flurries by Margarito, but Páez, Jr. is flipping up his elbows to catch a lot of the stuff aimed in the southern hemisphere, while eating the north of the border stuff willingly so he can land his own more well-executed punches.

Páez, Jr. is getting swarmed and bombarded now, Margarito laying everything on the line. Combos in the seven and eight range by Margarito. Páez, Jr. forced to clinch to suppress. Margarito throws away the jab, nearly a feint, more of an intentional wide miss, then pops a flush lead right onto Páez, Jr.'s nose, sharply snapping his head back. Páez, Jr. is ducking and holding.
