The dude went up like 5 boxing weight divisions for this fight ... stupid stupid... diaz was too big and mcgregor too ****y. Much like if floyd went to fight at 168....
i did like connor but this is why you respect every opponent you face.. one thing floyd always did, never overlooked any opponent.
McGregor is a fraud. Guy got beat up by a guy who sounds like Walter White Jr from Breaking Bad with 10 losses who only had 11 days to train. He got hit with a meaty one two and never recovered. Andre Ward did good on training Diaz for this fight. Guy said he had hands, wasn't lying.
When Boxers move up like they they tend to take their time and adjust. IS this evidence of MMA being in it's infancy? Seems like they should have known better. Mcgregors speed diminished. His reflexes suffered and as a result he didn't roll with any punches and took them all flush. Clearly a weight issue in my opinion.
Against a guy who had a weeks training camp. You make it sound like your hero went up in weight against a fully prepared 168. McGregor is also far bigger than Floyd.
More to do with Nate being 6' instead of the midgets Gregor fought before. Bad, bad idea. The reach got him and Nate took his punches too. The ****y **** is annoying but I give him credit for taking the fight at 170 against a tall guy, proven guy in his first fight at that weight, he has *****, Floyd would never in his life take that sort of risk.
That had nothing to do with anything. He was winning handily until he got caught with that one two and it was bye bye after that.
