Only thing is though fukk face, Diaz is a 155 pound fighter, Mcgregor is 145, THEY BOTH fought at 170. Mcgregor is bigger then Diaz, but shorter, Mcgregor has a small waist which is why he can cut weight great.
I would like to see Floyd at 170. That would be super middle, but even at 160 he doesn't have a sniff verses GGG.
Conor McGregor enjoyed Nonito Donaire-esque success at 145lbs. I always knew he was draining himself to become a bully at that weight. Conor weighing in at 155lbs though would be better for him rather than weighing in against 155'bers around fight night weights otherwise it only helps the bullies of that division.
Diaz throws slow, telegraphed uncordinated arm punches, Amir Khan would have walked through those shots like nothing. It's official, Conor Mcgregor has a worse chin than Amir Khan.
Yeah I don't want to hear "Floyd Mayweather" From that man's mouth ever again. Floyd Mayweather would have taken those punches like light refreshments.
He wouldn't have taken a Conor McGregor punch well, even though Mayweather's chin is great. With that said, Floyd Mayweather would have dodged Conor's biggest shots anyway and gave him a boxing lesson. I agree, I don't want to hear an MMA fighter call out Floyd for a boxing match, it's pathetic and now Rousey and McGregor have been dropped on their ass.
But he was getting repeatedly caught and hurt by them. McCgregor is just another D level athlete in a D level sport.
Saying Connors chin is worst than khan would imply Connor was knocked out, which was not the case... Terrible comparison.
They looked about the same mass to me. McGregor was muscular, while Diaz looked fat and skinny at the same time. Similar to Anderson Silva though, when you don't respect the the opponent, the sport, or the talent that you have, you get humbled. Be all business in the ring. All that talking, laughing, smiling, taunting etc. does nothing but get you caught in the end. Good stuff from Diaz hanging in there while taking a hell of a beating, and checking that McGregor chin, making him look unsteady, like a drunk leaving a bar in the AM.
