    Arum talks a nice game about being willing to negotiate but the reporter failed to ask him if he's willing to let his fighters appear on PBC supported networks. Obviously the televised network has been a major sticking point in the past and I don't see that issue all of a sudden being any easier to resolve.

    It would be very odd if this ended up happening now - especially as the icebreaker on the cold war - given how much this match-up was talked about six years ago when both were unbeaten prospects on the rise @ 140lbs.

    It has been a long road since then, both taking very different paths..

    How come no one is talking about the potential Berto-Ortiz rematch that may be in the works. Am I the only one excited about that?

    PBC needs to invest in all of their old past it fighters having wars, there's so many entertaining matches that can be made. Guerrero, Berto, Josesito, Ortiz, Peterson, Malignaggi there's plenty of interesting matchups to be made with these guys, that would be a lot of fun.:thumbsup

    :yep I was going to throw in Collazo too, but I think he's just about done, although he probably could KO Ortiz again.:lol:

    Those guys facing each other beats the hell of seeing them fed to guys like Porter and Thurman who could badly **** them up at this point. It gets them a paycheck and may not ultimately be as taxing on their long term health. And its good for the fans.

    I hate to agree that Porter could smash all those guys as in their prime some were much better than him but they are probably all that far gone now that he could, being the younger fresher bigger man.

    This. World Kid was an unproven prospect. No way would Vargas be that aggressive against Garcia and not pay for it.
