19 day Countdown Until WARD-Barrera, clash between two undefeated

I had to post this thread before The Professor bans me again, which he usually does just prior to any big fight.

In just over two weeks the highly anticipated and highly competitive LHW bout between P4P #2, Andre Ward and undefeated Cuban stylist, Sullivan Barrera takes place.

This is Ward's first real fight at the true LHW marker, against a very good top rated opponent, so the bout is eagerly awaited by the sport's true boxing fans.

Forget Kovalev for the time being and who cares about Golovkin-Wade.
This is the real bout between two highly skilled and competitive professional prize fighters at a level that neither Kovalev or Golovkin have ever seen.

The winner of this fight will gain a tremendous amount of respect in the sport and their status will rise, or in Ward's case, be reaffirmed. For Barrera, if he should win, it will mark his arrival to the top tier of professional boxing. A lot is at stake for both fighters and I expect them both to come out full tilt to claim their elite positions.

Someone's "0" has got to go, and it won't be Ward's. :smoke

Although Smith represented your typical high end Golovkin type opponent, Ward didn't just beat him, but sent him to the hospital for massive facial reconstruction.

Its straight up who is the best in the sport
Ward is still second best in the sport no matter who he fights until someone else is worthy of the spot
