 Too late. The contract is already made. I doubt Stevenson would sign up to fight Ward. He'd say to fight Kovalev first and then come see him. :yep

If Ward loses to this guy, then he never was the fighter that we thought that he was. You don't lose to guys like Barrera.

I agree. however, i am thinking the rust is going to play a factor. you stay sharp by fighting.

See that's the mystery. Nobody really knows if Ward is still has the goods. But this fight should test him out. The Smith fight was just a quick payday. It did nothing for ring rust. Smith was a heavy bag.

I'll bet Ward fights on the outside and only clinches, fighting on the inside if Barrera initiates it.:yep

I watched some of a few of Barrera's fights. I didn't see him fight on the inside much. Most likely has little experience.

Example! You can't throw insults around in such a broad manner and not give examples! You call Ward a fraud...Why is he a fraud? You call American boxing fans trolls and morons... why? I bet you won't let it be known where your are from!!! Let's see if you have what it takes to open yourself up to some critisism by letting ESB know your nationality!

    Ignore that clown.
In every post he makes you learn from his 1st sentence that he DKSAB and is only here to be a cheerleader for certain UK boxers. :smoke

His inside fighting is ****. For real. This is a decent fight for Ward to take because if allows him to gauge, if not really test, his rough house tactics against a decent sized LHW. That's all, nothing more. If he can't, he'll beat the **** out of Barrera from the outside. Absolute walkover guaranteed.
