Why would he move up when he's this close to making history? And in that division they will run too. Maybe a little slower because they carry a little more weight, but they still run. Looks clear to me that Alvarez isn't going to fight Golovkin, and cower back to 154 instead. Expect GGG to become undisputed -WBO in the near future.
Ward also said he'd go to 160 for Joy Sinclair, but won't meet the God of War in the middle at 164. This is a big money fight, Ward should of had no problem moving down.

They know about the hypocrisy, but they don't care about that because it doesn't fit their agenda. The whole idea of Golovkin saying he wants to go down to fight Floyd (then #1 P4P and super cashcow), being the same for them as fighting lesser big names for the frickin' MW belt (for which he is the mandatory) at that weight alone is just cringeworthy. It's like someone says I give up my left arm for a steamy hot night with Angelina Jolie, and they will come up with cutting off your arm for a hot half an hour with Megan Fox... It's *** with a hot brunette actrice right?! So exactly the same in their eyes.
This is NOT a big enough money fight. A fight with Mayweather is a BIG money fight. GGG will probably get 4 million from this fight being a B side fighter. As opposed to FMJ where he'd be getting over 10 perhaps.
