You need educated pressure not uneducated to trouble PBF. JLC was an educated pressure fighter who had subtle defense worked behind the jab cut the ring to get inside and work the body and was probably the best body puncher in the game back then. JLC is arguably the best LW of his era his resume speaks for itself. Whereas Margo was never seen as the best of anything other than taking prolonged beatings losing to the likes of Rodney Jones and loading his gloves.

Margo is an uneducated pressure fighter the kind PBF loves who had no jab no defense slow as **** he looked to walk through his opponents with his chin and overwhelm them with stamina workrate and size that's it. You will not beat PBF without a jab I can not stress how important that is it disrupts his rhythm and keeps him honest . This is the same type of fighter that PBF always gets accused of fighting, no speed no defense Mexican style the only reason you bring him up is because Arum built him up and PBF didn't fight him infact had he fought him he wouldn't even be worth talking about.

PBF tees off on Margo with speed, counters him to hell and back and is gone before the mummy plodder could even react. You cant draw up a scenario that Margo could beat PBF other than PBF breaking his hands from hitting Margo with so many flush straight right hands. In the end Margo is too slow and unskliied to do anything to PBF his workrate will be lowered he'll hit air all night and unlike other fighters PBF doesn't fade and has ATG defense. The difference in skill and reflexes is too great not to mention Margo's a slow starter.
