The only guys I could really rate above him is Clay

Holy is a 3x champ just like Clay (I don't even count his ,4th cause it was against Ruiz) and he fought in a strong HW era and fought everybody, most of the time he was fighting bigger dudes who could punch like Lewis, Bowe, Tyson, Mercer etc

He also for fought most of his big opponents 2 or more times

I say legacy wise alone he beats out any other Top ten HW

And he would probably beast most in the ring too

Think about how long he fought too, he came up fighting 15 rounds

    All praise to Allah

I do take that into consideration but I still stack his strength of opponents against anyone else...
And to me that trumps him juicing

Holyfield fought everyone, that cannot be denied.

But he also lost to a whole bunch of people too. In my eyes (and I sort of feel bad saying this about a fighter with such a great heart and attitude) that devalues his stock considerably.

ATG you say? I did not hear of him in the 70s being talked of as a great; so I too deny it.

Nobody has been an 'All-time' great. Who said in Roman times Evander Holyfield was a great?!

ped use rules him out of top ten, if he hadn't used them and achieved the same then he'd make top ten.

top 3 no - his defence record isn't long and is threaded with losses.

A good case for having Holyfield in the top 10 but not top 5.

He never beat a PRIME all time great top heavy.

The PED stuff means nothing to me, it didn't make him a better fighter hell he was just as good before he used anything if he did which I'm sure he did but it's not like we can sit here and pretend he's the only one that was using many American athletes around his time were using them, and once again let's not kid ourselves they still are.
