Whenever FW announces something (relatively) big you don't ever quite believe it and then you realise it was too good to be true.

 

It would appear that it's not FW fault this time. Rigo and his team are a joke who have form for this kind of behaviour.

Frampton and the McGuigan's must be having a party- after this episode not even hardcore fans will take issue with them not even considering the fight. They have the perfect excuse to fcuk him off as he's untrustworthy and a financial risk.

According to the article I read, there was a problem with his VISA and he had to wait in Russia for another day. He did not do that and flew to Miami. Don't know who made this call, if it was RN, Rigo or someone else, but the fight is 100% off.

reading between the lines Rigo has probably been told he has no chance of getting a fight with Quigg or Frampton in the near future.

Did this not happen with Flanagan v Derry on same bill as Lee v Saunders then near fight night it got postponed the got its own night now after it helped sell tickets and promote original bill. FW has lied through his teeth all week over the issue. It was known at the weekend Rigo was having issues and even up until Wednesday Fisheyes was denying.

He is complete and utter scum.

 

Why not get the Visa issue sorted early and train over here prior to the fight with a secondary trainer? Trying to get the situation sorted in Russia will likely cause problems.

Odd situation and I feel sorry for Jazza in all of this.
