I thought we had finally got past all the *******s from that night, one man won and one man lost, they will both fight at world level for the rest of their careers, neither man will become a great of the sport and that's all there is to it in my opinion, both very good and very talented fighters, but neither is anything special.

How can he have been badly advised?
After all - he had the Ring Magazine Trainer of the Year advising him, right? Remember that bit - about the Trainer of the Year....

Wonder if the blush has left the red faces at Ring Magazine?

Correct. For example IMO even a shot Donaire would iron these two out even if he had to drain back down to the weight instead of feather.

Quigg will fight for a world title back end of summer. Frampton will fight wake. It's highly unlikely Santa Cruz will take the fight he gets paid too much money to fight easy fights on home turf. Frampton won't fight rigo so he will take his ibf mandatory

Quigg will be out for at least 6 months with that broken jaw courtesy of Framptons power. He will have a metal plate in his head for life. When he does eventually step into a ring again it wont be for a world title....and it wont be against someone like Nonito Donaire.

That great power that couldn't hurt or drop a guy with a broken jaw....Do you mean that power?

As Paddy asked is Frampton going to man up and fight Rigo?

Makes me laugh everyone asking Carl to man-up.

Would you be saying the same if Quigg had of one? No you wouldn't have!

I agree. I started this thread and I think Carl should fight rigo now its the fightbi want, but LSC is just about acceptable

But there is no doubt quigg will go back to fighting 3rd world fruit farmers

Er...yes I would actually. Think you'll find most people were saying the winner should fight him to begin with but expecting the winner to vacate instead

Yes, both Frampton and Quigg have avoided him for long enough. Regarding Quigg he had been chasing the Frampton fight so I could understand the delay of a Rigo fight. But as a Quigg fan if he had beaten Frampton then he should then have to man up and face Rigo.

The wee man won't let it happen seen as Frampton is the McGuigan family meal ticket.

Under the guidance of his brilliant manager - Irish boxing legend Barry McGuigan, After powering past his domestic rivals, Carl will be guided towards the fights that make him the most money. That probably means Leo Santa Cruz. Barrys priority as a manager is to do whats best for his boxer - that means making him the most money. Unfortunately for Rigo he just isnt a big money spinner. Which is a shame, but thats boxing fans for you!

P4P listed Donaire made a career high pay day against him. Stop excusing Frampton's ducking.
