Where will it happen? What weight? There are an awful lot of factors here.

Despite winning 'titles' at multiple weights LSC has never faced a man close to his own size. His career is built on blown-up has-beens and never-weres.

Not underplaying him for a second, I am a fan of his.
But he has never faced a career super-bantam in his prime who can box and punch. Its all well and good throwing 1000 punches a fight - but what if half of them miss? ...What if every time he does miss he gets countered - hard.

Also - why has this line mysteriously been added to my post without me typing it????

Team Frampton slate Quigg for avoiding Rigo, and label Santa Cruz a fraud.

Now they are bigging up fighting Santa Cruz and avoiding Rigo.

    Hypocrisy at its finest.

I would maybe make LSC a slight favourite here - 55-45 kinda thing.
Just making the point that in many ways HE would be facing a bigger 'step-up' than Carl. Certainly Carl brings more to the fight than any of LSCs previous victims.

Abner Mares the 3 weight, multiple world champion is exactly what you have described!! hahaha Who has Carl beat with Abner Mares' resume? .......... No one!!

Mares is one (1) opponent David.
Even though he did have some credibility - that was several years and several weightclasses ago. Plus at his best Abner couldnt knock the froth off my pint. As if all that isnt enough - when he did get in the ring with LSC, he fought like a brainless maniac, completely the wrong fight - played right into Leos hands.

Frampton will be a whole other story alltogether.

I am not saying that it means he beats Carl because he beat Mares but your statement was that 'His career is built on blown-up has-beens and never-weres.' Abner Mares does not fall into either of those categories mate. If Mares fought the wrong fight against LSC doesn't change that!

LSC also beat Kiko Martinez easier than Carl and imo Kiko is still a credible opponent.

Styles make fights and if Carl can impose his style on LSC then he could easily beat him but please don't try belittle LSC with comments like you did in your earlier post when they are totally wrong!!

Sorry to break it to you David but in this case it is you who are wrong.

A rudimentary glance at boxrec alone is enough to confirm what I said.
That said LSC keeps on winning - you cant argue with that alright.

As you can see all his opponents were well past their best, and a division or two above their best weight. Totally over-matched.

Some credit must be given to Leo though - he keeps winning, you caant argue with his continued success, and he was impressive in his last two fights - but Mares and Kiko were made for him. Mares lost the run of himself and threw his skill-set out the window and Kiko fought a face-first Kamikaze fight.

Frampton will be a bit more measured and intelligent about it.
