To me Boxing Associations are powerless no teeth to enforce anything, they bully small guys but not top promoters the TV are very powerful deciding which bout they will buy so between promoters and TV controls boxing.
Haymon is the only man that should matter in boxing. He's aiming to take over boxing and follow Dana whites module to a tee. And we have a bunch of dumb fans that pray day in and day out for Haymon to fail ??? I'm very far from a ufc fanatic, but I follow it now and it's run perfectly, which would be gold if boxing let Haymon do what he incisions. Imagine boxing being run like the UFC, would be so much better. Be facking great
Boxings problem is BLATANT CORRUPTION!!! Starting with the State Commissions on down. The days of a fair fight with the best man winning are long gone. If you have connections & $$$$$ them you'll get the wins regardless Just ask Floyd
Jon Jones is a spoiler. He is less skilled than some fighters, but his freaking physical attributes makes up for it. He use his long arms to hold the other guy's arms, pushes them against the cage and use his knees. Without those long freakish arms and size advantage, he would be no more effective than any other fighter. That's why he got fvcked up by Gustafsson when he fought someone his size. He also gets no respect because he is a scum of a human being.
The Oddmakers make sure its as safe as possible...this reduces the financial damage of upsets to isolated manageable losses, the only party gambling is the customer :smoke
Their ISN'T anyone smarter than myself in all boxing at the present. Talking admin. Their are too many organizations. I respect the WBC WBA IBF & WBO. March 2007 I founded a work to this end [UWBCAFO-I] and...I make attempt to ECHELON THE WHOLE OF THE SPORT. Draw the LINE after the FIRST &major FOUR. A '2e' title has value of approx FIVE USA States. "Echelons" don't mix. I should talk it "details"? The WBA and that...they are the ESTABLISHMENT. "Sure" it is -FUNNY- but....it is idiocentricity at worse. Not hard to determine that their "top guy" is true champ. IBO boxing worse cancer these days. It's why the world media come to point where they SIMPLY ignore Boxing.
^ ^ (Say it again) WBA "No.1" not hard to determine. Those other two are "in-house fancies"/not more. Tyson Fury the WBA champ. Certainly. &..it's only brought up to highlight "argument" used as it is in the Chaps post..
ive mentioned ufc loads and got slaughted for it, promoters showtime and hbo are killing boxing. Im not clued up to much on Heymon but he seems to want the ufc route? One example Guillermo Rigondeaux, everyone knows he is the best but politics stop him fighting. Why would a fighter fight the best when he can go to the nursing home, sign out Hopkins and have a pay day?
Staminakills, Haymon is bad for boxing because he's trying to use illegal business practices to create a monopoly. Dana White is bad for mma because he killed Pride, Affliction, Elite FC, XFC, Strikeforce, International Fight League, and the WEC. He's created a monopoly on mma in the USA. Basically, he's doing all that **** we have laws against because we already tried it in boxing back when Mike Jacobs used to run Madison Square Garden.
You ever see how many times he poked people in the eyes? He did it to Lyoto Machida a bunch of times. He keeps his fingers pointing out toward his opponent's eyes so if they try to cover ground and get inside his greater reach they'll just impale their eye***** on his fingers. The guy is a complete piece of **** who wouldn't win if it weren't for tactics like that.
Of course I did. He's a dirty fighter and his fighting style is comparable to Wladimir's style of grabbing and holding. Fortunately for him, it's legal in the octagon. He wins not because of his skill, it's because of his long arms, and long fingers that allow him to grab onto people like an octopus or in some cases, poke people until they can't no longer see effectively. Again, when Wlad fought someone he can't grab on to on, he loses. When Jones can't effective grab onto a guy his size, he got a gift decision and got sent to the hospital. I have no respect for Wladimir Klitschko's style of "fighting", so I have respect for Jon Jones style of "fighting".
