Because it's his madatory and if he doesn't fight him he loses the title.

    Surely you know this?

DeGale has fought in 2 different countries and won a belt and defended it. He deserves a give me match for God sakes. No fighter in history has fought all beast back to back.
If you can name one I will wire you $100 dollars tonight.

Degale is one Brit that I respect. He is a globe trotter willing to fight against fighters, refs and judges and still wins.

didn't know it was his mandatory. never heard of the guy before, so i looked him up on boxrec. not very impressive. if it is a mandatory, guess he gets a pass.

To give DeGale his due, he was fairly unhappy about this guy. Porky however did KO drugged TMT disgrace J'Leon Love, so I think he deserves a decent fight.

Uzcategui was meant to be in but apparently he is ill. Or so he claims.

He just beat the two best guys GGG has ever been in the ring with, back-to-back, let him have a little break...

Yeah it's been announced for Showtime today along with Jack-Bute and Ortiz-Berto II on the same card.

He's also agreed to fight the winner of Jack-Bute I think too.

I think if Bute is as good as he was against DeGale he can do it, although that was his only decent performance in a long time

Medina will be about 10/1 I guess. Pretty standard for a making up the numbers defence.
