Askin is on last after the main event.

Never understand why promoters do that, surely the main event should be the last fight? Any reason?

TV/satellite time usually. That said Boxnation could stay on air for as long as is necessary for obvious reasons.

****ens fights after the main event as well.

So that people who have to leave/switch off at a certain time don't miss the main event.

Flanagan will totally outclass a brave but limited Derry Mathews.

Having a fight scheduled after the main event allows for flexibility, especially if the under-card is over quickly due to early KOs.

I think the Flan layoff might make him start slowly. Once he gets into that groove he's great to watch. Matthews is decent with counters and that right hand, but he's very one paced - awkward opponent to fight.

Flanigan was better, he's gonna end this with a body shot if anything, every jab to the body is making Matthews double over. He's really feeling them, both fighters are nervous but the man who is more controlled is Flanigan and he is putting better combinations together.

Agreed, body shots will wear him down to late stoppage. But really, is this world title standard boxing?

No it's not world title standard, it's a domestic showdown that's been brewing since Prizefighter and a chance for FW to sell a ton of tickets.
Flanagan is boxing well and is starting to warm up and surgically destroy Matthews who is now coming forward and on the end of Flan's punches.

Matthews arguably takes his first round on my scorecard, but Flanagan is still more accurate. He seems to be trying to time Matthews with a left hook that last round. But that wasn't vintage Flan, still it's good to see him get some rounds.

And Flanagan boxes circles around Matthews, that was a joy to watch when he puts punches together. He's very very sharp, and Matthews was holding everytime those body shots landed. Six rounds up for me.(Flan that is)

Stupid by Flan, he doesn't need to do that. He could get a DQ at this rate..
