    Don't forget he was a 154 champ. A real one too, not like that bogus Manny Packeow deal against Margarito

    And LA Motta wasn't a big puncher anyways. Like 20 something KOs with all those fights.

    I see this fight going like Chavez fight

    It would be like the Benitez-Hamsho bout...with Jake being entirely too strong and physical for Pernell.

    That's a pretty good comparison actually.Jake would cut Sweet Pea in half.

    Only gift Whitaker got in that fight was a one-year supply of intentional rabbit punches, the gift Vasquez kept giving.

    Lomatta would be too big,too strong, and most important too aggressive for Whitaker. Though Lamotta didn't hit like T.Hearns, his aggressiveness would be the deciding factor. Whitaker at that weight could only hide for so long.
