Maidana , now is a retired fat slob but he will reconsider a come back for a good paycheck against Canelo ? I'm pretty sure Canelo would like this fight.:yep:think

Don't know why but I think Canelo is willing to fight all Floyd's leftovers - Ortiz/Berto, Marquez, Maidana, Pacquiao, etc. Bradley is another interesting one too.

I think he retired, not officially. But he's told others he's retiring because he lost to the best and made like 15m between broner and fmj fights

He did pretty damn good money but if GBP makes him a good offer of 4/5 millions to fight Canelo I think he would think about it very carefully.

1 pound too many. Alverez IS NOT a middleweight and nobody should be pressuring him into fighting at 155.1. Its completely unfair on the Mexican and his mother Oscar.

Robert Garcia has alluded to Maidana unlikely to ever return to the ring again in quite a few interviews; mainly those with Ellie Seckbach. His reasoning is he made a buckload of money from the fight with Broner and the subsequent two with Mayweather and he's now enjoying his new found wealth and lifestyle too much to want to return to being punched in the face for a living. It's a shame, because there were some very intriguing match-ups involving him left still, but you can't begrudge a guy who fought anyone and everyone and gave it his all in every fight.

Would love to see this fight, but I'm happy that Marcos is enjoying the just rewards that he's earned.
