Can the Rock overcome the size difference?

15rds to give Rocky a level playing field.

    Thoughts?

Fury is too big. It's a foot in height almost. Fury has skill aswell and is 60 pounds heavier. Fury wide points and makes it look easy.

I don't think a pick for Fury is wrong, at all, but on points over 15?

Given that Fury has never fought 15 and Marciano is an absolute monster over 15...big call that.

Marciano's body punching would slow him down, I think he gets him out late rounds.

    That's why it's over 15.

Fury is absolutely enormous ... Marciano needs a stepladder to tap that chin. I think you'd see Fury meandering all over the ring piling up points with the jab while Marciano tries to close him down. Fury doesn't have the power to keep Marciano honest. I don't see a KO in this one. Points either way methinks.

Crazy fight...but Rock has a chance, cause Fury has no punch and even worse hanđspeeed.

Crazy fight indeed. Fury doesn't look smooth because of his size, but he can box. Marciano is heavily outweighed, but he's an absolute beast, and would put the pressure on.

Fury is less than a foot taller than Rocky, so he can definitely be tagged. Fury is punching downwards at an elusive dynamite puncher. He has to rely on straight punching, and keeping his distance. Rocky is punching upwards, and has to rely on big overhand rights, and his left hook to generate enough power to shake up Fury.

If I had to choose, I'd pick Marciano. But this is the kind of fight that's very hard to predict until the two actually meet in the ring.

I don't think there will be much of Marciano left if it does get to the 15th round.

Marciano was 5'10 with 68" reach.
    Chisora is 6'2 with a 74" reach.

Now before people crucify me for mentioning Chisora in the same sentence, hear me out.

I used Chisora as an example because, stylewise, he's probably the closest thing to Marciano that Fury has ever fought I.e a pressure fighter.

Chisora was unable to land a glove on Fury in 12 rounds of action.

I cant see the much smaller Marciano doing any better.

For the poster who said Fury has no punch, well Buster Douglas had no punch either, but if/when you hit your opponent in the face enough times, you can get a stoppage.
Especially when you consider that Fury would have 60+ pound weight advantage.

And that's exactly how I see this fight going.

    Fury by stoppage.

Yes Fury’s win over Klitschko is very impressive, but let’s not get carried away here.

Nobody should be picked over Marciano just for being big.

Fury isn't being picked just because he's big, he's being picked because he's big and he knows how to utilise that size advantage to its full potential.

Fury by decision, assuming he prepares for the extra 3 rounds as best he can. Fury is good at fighting tall.
