The official offer wasn't made because when Ward's peoples called K2 they picked up the phone and when they found out it was Ward, acted like they was a Chinese carry out joint.
When Ward's peoples kept calling they finally responded with that ridiculous 164lb, 60/40, or nothing offer that they knew Ward would reject.
Just weeks before that is when they turned down Hopkins saying that he was too young for them to fight. :yep
