Can you be considered a genuine world champ if you duck Rigo?

  1. Surely by avoiding the best Carl is no better than a paper champ?

He makes Terrytibbs seem like a warrior.

About as predictable as it gets. No doubt giving it the big man act. Still too frightened to admit he lied about going to Chelmsford. Cares too much about this forum.

Anyway, I've given the attention seeker enough of my time. Back to the thread topic.

Everyone knows rigo is the best fighter in the division. All weight classes have multiple 'champions' but we all know who the real champ is. So either every single world title holder is considered a champion or you have to say pretty much every titlist in boxing are paper champs. I have no problem calling it either way.

It depends on how you interpret a champion.
My mate got a valentines card off his misses stating he was the best boyfriend in the world. The guy had been sleeping with someone else the night before. So some trinket stating your this or that doesnt make it true. The belt situation is crazy right now and just because you hold one doesnt make you a true champ. Therse one champ in each div thats how it should be

well, the world is a big place, theres nothing wrong with a 2nd opinion of who is world champion.

ideally though yes you aren't genuinely the world champion until you beat the top man.

Carl is a world titlist, theres not much further for him to climb now.

Clearly this thread isn't about the validity of the various 'world' champions not considered the number one fighter in their division. It's about the OP not being able to handle being wrong on a recent bout. The OP is still crying after the Quigg fight and needs to move on.

Rigo is still the number one at SBW and Frampton is going after the fairly highly regarded LSC in his next fight for considerably more money and far greater potential for an exciting fight.

Rigo's career has been horribly mismanaged.

  10. I assume you are privy to the numbers and can tell us all exactly how much Carl would make vs Rigo and vs LSC so we can see the comparison?

    Thanks.

So you think Frampton has the potential to earn as much fighting Rigo as he does fighting LSC? Keep playing the fool.

As an aside you know Rigo beating Frampton wouldn't undo his win over Quigg right? You were totally wrong. Deal with it.

    :deal Good post!

  13. Ah, so you have no idea on the numbers? Can we accept you're guessing and have absolutely no clue.

You realise Donaire got a career high pay day vs Rigo?

Next you'll tell me you reckon LSC will come to Belfast and Carl will get the lion's share.

You haven't got a clue and have made yourself look even more of a clueless, boring muppet than you normally do.

So to clarify, you think a Rigo fight has the potential to generate a similar amount of money for Frampton as a bout with LSC? That's a yes or no question, so if you can't answer that then don't bother to respond.

Donaire's career high payday against Rigo was dwarfed by Frampton's purse he got for breaking down Scott Quigg. Look up the numbers, those are out there for al to see.

You're also not taking into account that Donaire Rigo was pretty much set up for Donaire to win spectacularly by the tv networks. Look at the pay disparity for proof. They were clearly disappointed when he won and have shown no desire to have him back since, making your claims of him offering a bumper pay day look ridiculous.

Now move on, you've just been schooled in front of everyone you tit.
