This will happen, if he some how beats Canelo, the good part that this new confabulation will make Amir Khan commit to his punches (because in a punchers mind... all he needs is just tap Canelo chin & Khan has the reach & speed to do it), which might lead to getting Canelo KTFO if the right punch lands on the right place.

Amir Khan might surprise the world & start the fight with a Tommy Hearns/Jessie Garcia 2.0 mindset, this fight will have a big KO :think

 

My only real issue with this fight is that it was Canelo's decision as preparation for moving to 160 and taking on GGG. Clearly, nothing about this fight does either of those things. If anything, it makes Canelo look terrible in the eyes of the public and *just* may humiliate him if Khan manages to pull it off.

Full credit to Khan though, a fighter I really, really don't like except when I see him get dropped. As this fight gets closer, the more I think Khan MIGHT just have a chance. He has quick hands, but his footspeed is overrated. He will need to work on landing his quick amateurish combos, earn the points, and then pivot out before Canelo can counter and put him out. I think if he works on his stamina, he can actually pull it off, especially if Canelo comes in as large as he normally does. He didn't seem to gas much against Cotto, but he clearly can be frustrated as seen in the Mayweather fight, which could lead to mental gassing.

There is no way I pay money for this fight, but it is slowly becoming more interesting none the less.

 

Alvarez will not lose a decision. The only way Khan wins is to ko Alvarez. Not much of a chance of that happening either.

 

In that case, Khan should just use his newly discovered triple power & come looking for a KO from the get GO :think
