I see a lot of love for Golovkin at the moment and rightly so but my question is this.

How does he fare against the UK's best Middleweight era?

    Eubank
    Benn
    Collins
    Watson

All top quality fighters. How does Golovkin fare in these matchups?

All too big and strong for him apart from Benn, who GGG can maybe take if he gets past the opening blitz.

GGGisgoodboy > Including Eubank? The mans Jaw was concrete. I can't see that one. I could possibly see him beating the others but Benn had serious power, Watson had some good skills and Collins had real grit and determination. All are competitive imo.

K2 would never sign up to fight any UK fighter. They would be too busy filling Golovkin's fight schedule with James Toney and Hagler leftovers and calling out Welterweights of the era.

How rude of me. I never gave my own opinion.

Benn is a 50/50 fight. Someone is getting knocked out. Leaning towards Benn.
Eubank outboxes Golovkin to a 8-4 kind of fight.
Golovkin stops Collins. Not a KO but a corner or ref stoppage.
Watson beats Golovkin of points. This one I'm not 100% confident tho.

How is a guy who poses after every punch going to decision Golovkin?

He only did that in fights he dominated. Against Calzaghe, Benn, Watson and Thompson I can't remember any of that. He was a very good boxer when he needed to be.

    Ko's 3 of them
Goes the full 12 with Eubank and wins a decision, because in his prime Eubank was very elusive.

Collins would be a an early Ko win.
Watson would be mid to late rounds Ko win
Benn would be mid to late rounds ko win.

Prime I doubt he would get past any of them. Benn would of been on him like flies on sh!t and he would not of withstood that. Eubank, Watson and Collins are all good boxers and would out point the version of GGG now. But who knows what GGG can turn into, there just is not the opposition out there compared to when the above for-mentioned were fighting

I think his skills and style are poison for all four of them. Eubank Jr. would probably go to 12rd, but GGG has better work rate and therefore I see GGG winning, maybe 116-112 or 117-111.

Collins would offer GGG biggest challenge because his style and elusiveness but I can´t see Collins chin taking those bombs. That would eventually happen due to GGG footwork - he would cut the ring eventually. GGG by KO.

Watson would be a mismatch, it would end like GGG vs. Stevens. GGG by TKO.

Benn would probably go full 12rd, but after six rounds he would take a beating ala Lemieux. Benns problems would be his mediocre footwork and lack of boxing skills. GGG would have a field day, could choose distance according to his desire and situation.

Remember none of these great warriors have amateur pedigree comparable to GGG. They might be as tough, hit as hard but they loose skill wise, stamina and boxing IQ level. I understand totally if someone can´t admit any weakness on these four aforementioned warriors for nostalgic reasons, After all they are all living legends.
