In the ring they are less than a single " apart.
Go look at the refs rules at center ring and you'll notice how close they are in height.

Fmj always been 5'7"
Pac always been 5'6.5"
These are facts that can't be argued. Fmj fights like a 6 footer because his reach is ridiculous.

Pac has the weight advantage while fmj has the reach advantage. Fmj also has the skill and chin advantages

Floyd rarely KO's people. He outclasses them. Also, Pac's chin is still ok. It is certainly not what it was, but it is still decent. The Marquez KO was because of a perfectly timed punch.

 

Maybe Fluid had a bad bag of IV.

 

Because Floyd has terrible hands that are ****ed. He doesn't commit to punches like he used to, and even then he was never a power puncher at all. He didn't have one-punch ability unless it was all about timing and placement.. he isn't a banger.

You add on the fact about his hands being brittle, it wasn't going to happen unless Pac walked into a Hatton.
