Yet again on average, bigger fighters usually prefer to box off the back foot against a smaller fighter who has better punching power and higher workrate. The reason I'm bringing up the HW division is because that's the division we witness biggest size differences.

Naww... Floyd put some **** on him in the first couple of rounds, trying to get the KO but pac wasn't going anywhere. but what people fail to realize though he has widened out since moving up he, but came from 130 pounds as a pro.

He was stopping dudes left and right in the lighter weights but has he moved up his power depleted and he had to rely on his skills more often.. it's not that hard to understand when you really think about it.. He's not or never was really a powerpuncher.

Pac got that work from Money.

Money literally beat the PEDS out of him. I saw PEDS flying every time May punched Pac.

Mayweather was never known for his power he can't punch for ****

He was stopping nobodies in the lighter weights

Mayweather was the bigger guy and he was running and clinching a blown up featherweight

He himself said after the fight "i had to be very smart and box him everytime i exchanged with him thats when he caught me"

    Thats what he said

and it true even time he tried to let his hands go a little Pac caught him and hurt him

It looked like every left Pac landed rocked his world

Size differences HW mean less. 10 pounds at zheavy means little. 10 pounds at welter means everything.

Most of his 130 fights were against no hopers as he was building his record then.

With Mayweather having all the physical advantages, how was outboxing Maywether going to come about?

    Mayweather was reduced? :rofl:rofl:rofl

Listen, anyone with a boxing brain knew going in that Pacqauiao needed to be active if he had any chance to win rounds from Mayweather.

Pacquiao wasn't active. You can count on one hand the times Pacquiao attempted to push the issue and try to cut the ring off on a Mayweather who was using his lenghth and maneuvering the ring.

Pop pivot, pop pivot, pop pivot.........that was the theme for Mayweather through the whole fight and Pacquiao did absolutely nothing to attempt to counteract that.
You certainly don't attempt stand mid to long distance under those circumstances, so boixng for Pacquiao was out of the equation if he had any desire to want to win rounds.

Being the smaller fighter physically, Pacquiao needed to use his speed, zig zag, and throw lots and lots of punches.

The fans who were disappointed afterward were disappointed at Manny Pacquiao for his lack of a workrate.

Total punches thrown? 435 for Mayweather and 429 for Pacquiao.

Thats in the range for Mayweather as he normally has a low rate.
But for Pacquiao to have even a lower workrate when we all knew he needed to rely on being busier than Mayweather in order to have a chance???????

A bloated and slow Juan Manuel Marquez threw more punches at Mayweather than a blinding fast Manny Pacquiao?

Thats why people were disappointed at the effort of Manny Pacquiao.
He threw 429 punches at Mayweather where the slower Juan Manuel Marquez was able to get of 583.

Marquez at the very least put in the effort and never stopped trying even though it was obvious he was to short and to slow to reach Mayweather with any consistency to land clean punches.

Marquez threw almost 100 more punches than Mayweather.
Pacquiao however ends up throwing less punches than Mayweather who notoriously is known for a low workrate, yet you're saying it was Manny Pacquiao who reduced Floyd Mayweather????:patsch

That's why I was mentioning 250 lbs guys against 220 lbs guys. Go watch Lewis-Holyfield or Klitschko-Haye, where in both cases size difference(around 30 lbs) is much bigger than It is with May-Pac.

Gamboa as a LW comes in at fight night heavier than Floyd Mayweather. Therefore, Gamboa is bigger than Mayweather...got it. :nut

Divac Pacquiao hasn't been the energizer bunny for about 7-8 years now.

The relentless volume and head movement was a style he used in his prime. He toned down the aggression because everybody was bigger than him and he aged.

Look at his first fight with Marquez. That was Pacquiao at his physical peak. Look at how aggressive he was then and how strong and fast he was. He couldn't do that in 2015. Credit to Marquez for his performance in that fight too.

Thus with the higher workrate...higher probability of taking shots, thus more accumulative damage.
Naturally bigger fighters can absorb punishment better than smaller fighters.

Dude, if you stand right in front of a shorter guy who has better hand speed and higher workrate, you get outlanded and outscored.

Another good example is Valuev-Chagaev(90 lbs difference) where SNV couldn't keep Chaggey at bay and got outworked on the inside.
