Golovkin is the more explosive puncher but Alvarez is the more explosive fighter.

Imagine, if you will, that Canelo was Kazakh origin, and Golovkin was a Mexican thoroughbred. Who would have more names on their CV?

As for a bet, at what odds? Straight up 1/1 mano y mano? Or closer to the 1/5 in GGG favour that the bookies have it. You know, because they don't wanna go out of business.

But Canelo is telling you it will happen.

Amir Khan. 3 years to make Cotto.

He's telling you right to your face. He's saying - Dung Lou , im terrified of of Glovkin , my body isn't ready , how come everybody can see this but not you?

Canelo fight's in bursts because his conditioning is terrible, an old Cotto was outlanding him ffs

standing in the middle of the ring fighting in bursts against a fighter like GGG is suicide, sure Canelo has fast hands and excellent combination punching, but is will not be enough to stop someone who throws 80-90 punches a round, has one of the best jabs in the sport and throws fantastic body punches, especially the left hook to the liver

Canelo would have his moments, but would ultimately get brutalised by GGG for however many rounds he can stand it

All this said, and GGG'S best win is still Monroe... Guess who GGG is fighting next?

Dominic Wade? Ever hear of him?

I said Canelo has cement feet, you disagree, I asked you to show me footage of Canelo's great footwork and cutting off the ring, since you obviously know more about boxing than me

what's wrong with that? are you backing out of your words? or is his footwork and cutting off the ring not as good as you first said it is? :think

I don't think Canelo has cement feet, like you do. But I know Canelo has FOUGHT the better competition... You can't refute this no matter how hard you try ..

I'm not refuting that Canelo has fought Cotto or Mayweather, who are more accomplished than anyone on Golovkin's resume

I'm refuting your opinion that Canelo has excellent footwork and ring generalship, because if you watch any of his fights, it's hard to find any evidence of this

what I did see though, was Canelo gassing after 5 rounds vs Trout, and saw him hitting the ropes more times than he hit Lara

how did he duck out of a money fight? Canelo holds the 160 lbs lineal title, therefore a unification fight, hell, any MW title fight, should be held at 160

I'd have no problems for Canelo to ask for a CW, but no titles on the line, GGG is his mandatory, and he either faces GG at 160 or drop the titles

You can't refute it when Canelo showed it in fights against mosley, trout, and cotto..... Lara and angulo were tuneups, and GGG still picked Monroe over Lara stating Monroe brought in more money than Lara.... That is bs beyond

That is debatable maybe Canelo fights in burst because he's built more like a patient boxer and not a mindless brawler? I've never seen Alvarez gassed in the championship rounds.
Cotto for one is a higher quality "boxer" than GGG and faster as well and for the majority of that fight his shots were dodged or slipped.

You overlook that Alvarez is a great body puncher as well, and this idea that he'll just stand there for GGG to tee off on is ridiculous. Canelo has great defensive movement which of all attributes is the most severely overlooked.
