Ive seen him from a distance plenty of times, but I've only seen him up close once when I saw him in Seattle(have no idea what he was doing there) and he is huge. I don't even know how he makes 147. He's short and stubby but the guy has meat on top of meat on top of muscle on top of more muscle. Anyone who's actually seen him in person would say he walks around at 180-185, I'm kind of exaggerating with the 180 thing but he's pretty big, I think he cuts a little too much weight
Think of the thin waist were gym regulars have extra 10 lbs of garbage & a shade of abs, while car driving, sedantry average joes have extra 40 lbs of garbage on their waist line alone. If it weren't for all that muscle mass I'd say he should be in the 135-140 range naturally. But the dude is a bit of a body builder so he's probably more like 155 and cuts down to 147.
He is skinny naturally but obviously has great muscle bulding genetics. If you have ever seen his wrists etc you will see what I mean. It also explains his lack of pop too. Guys like him get jacked quickly
You'll be suprised how at how low your boxing weight class would be. Those walking around 180 now would probably be ww-jw. If they are in shape maybe middleweights. those walking around 150lb would be lightweights. Not saying you'll fat but the weight drops off you like nobody's business when your training to fight. Also proffesional boxers are usually more muscular through years of core training.
He's around 156lbs on fight night. When he has relatively low body fat in training camp, he's around 165lbs. Before training camps, he's genuinely 'fat'. He probably weighs 180lbs.
