IMO Prime Mike Tyson beats Shannon Briggs in 4 rounds. Vitali went distance with Briggs, but Tyson had the tools to end Briggs in early rounds. Thoughts?
Briggs learned to go the distance as he got older. Tyson would dispose of a prime version after a couple fun rounds. This fight could have happened actually. My brother went on Briggs' website and emailed him in like 99 or 2000. He said he was gonna fight Tyson in the Meadowlands. Tydon ended up fighting Norris, Savarese or someone instead.
True, they were scheduled to fight, but for whatever reason the fight didn't happen. Prime Tyson puts the fear of God into Briggs.
Tyson KO 1 Briggs Briggs had size and speed, but didn't have the chin or defense to compete with prime Tyson.
I actually think Briggs has a puncher's chance in this one. Likely Tyson ends him earlyish, but Briggs wouldn't have to look for him and he's got the power to hurt almost anybody.
