Mate I didn't direct that at brophy and all my comments above I have said I am hoping he does it, brophy is a nice guy and my opinion on Billy will not reflect on him . I was at his fight with Webb with and spoke on Twitter, I felt he's improved loads. A lot of other boxers in Scotland do not have that quality and Billy will say the same even if it's through gritted teeth

Heard the Webb fight was good and a proper test. Hopefully doing the 10 rounds stands him in good stead for this one.

What's teh position with Ronnie just now mate? Anything lined up?

  3. In what way is Webb a test? He is area level at best. Who has he actually beaten? No one.

Webb was a tough fight mate, I went along with Ronnie and we had an argument, for me I would have stopped the fight , brophy was on 8 and turned in corner, he was down and out whereas Ronnie felt referee done a good job ha, but for me it could have been stopped. He came back amazing when I thought it was over. No news with Ronnie, waiting to see what happens with the British or a final eliminator v maxi Hughes or any other good offers really. Same old really. Also his contract runs out in May so just seeing where he goes from here to be honest.

Thanks mate. I am a fan - have been to a few of his fights and as you say he steps up where many others don't because they want padded records. Good luck to him!

There was 3 rounds of the Evans fight that were on TV and Ronnie won 2 of them by a mile. He got a point off the other round that he won.. He hurt Evans and the ref gave him time to recover maybe go watch them rounds again.. You weren't there it was a 10 round fight and the crowd all booed the decision you hear it on the recording of the show.. Why doesn't Ritson fight Evans next for the Celtic title or Cacacae. He beats either of those then I you can claim credit.. The Mcrorry fight was close and the Cacacae fight was close as well one judge had it even going into the last and I had Ronnie 1 down.. Troy James fight could of gone either way.. Ronnie is British level he has proven he can compete with all these guys and has a serious shot at becoming a British Champion... Billy instead of Ronnie travelling why don't you bring Lewis up to Dundee I'm sure Ronnie would be more than happy to spar him.. We can then see just how good he is.. Let me know when you guys are free we can arrange it

Davie in fairness. Boxnation did show three rounds but for you to think he one two by a mile is so wrong, against the Irish lad I was sitting with Joe ham Snr and we both thought Ronnie only one two or three rounds before being stopped and against Jordan two judges had him 4& 3 rounds down going into the last thats not a particularly close fight in the eyes of the judges is it?
Let's not spar lets get them doing 10 rounds @ 9-9 Lewis is bang up for it

Because your arguments with David are nothing to do with Ronnie so you need to not mention him as bait which happens time and time again on here. Billy all you can do is make an offer to
Ronnies manager I have told you that, neither me or David have any input on his fights and you need to act with professionalism and speak to his manager. He may take it. Money is right it will happen, against Jordan he was down on the cards. That's official after fight we heard, he was terrible . Against Cacace he was 1 down and 2 down on 2. Again styles make fights. Go ask Cacace if that was an easy fight. Ronnie had him hurt in the 8th but just couldn't get him out there. A good 50-50 fight over 10 rounds again. Not about being as good as I think , he could lose 5 more fights and I would still praise his mentality. He's not a fraud. He turned over at 27 after kickboxing all his life and around 8 amateur fights. He's fought really high level amateurs and even his lack of skills and trainer he bites down on his gum shield and gets on with it. More to boxing that winning Billy as many other fighters show, Sean Dodd being the latest. Sometimes perseverance pays off.

Not the time or the place to be trying to match fights Billy, David has his opinion, you have yours so please try to act a wee bit more professionally when it comes to the actual boxers mate. Whatever opinions are on here you shouldn't be trying to goad people out on a boxing forum.

You have my number if you want sparring and you have Tommy's number if you want to make a bout between the 2 fighters.

David I'm not going to let people say a fighter I train who would beat any lightweight in Scotland get critised by someone who's not even seen him lol
I manage Lewis and coach him and if yous want the fight Lewis will be delighted to accommodate them

I wasn't aware I had to contact yourself I thought Ronnie was trained elsewhere
Ps goading goes both ways and your aware the people doing it really aren't clued up on pro boxing like they think they are

Are you a complete idiot seriously.. Maybe read my posts.. I can't criticise Lewis as I have not seen him and I would never criticise him anyway.. It's your opinion he would be every lightweight in Scotland that doesn't make it fact. Charlie Flynn is also a lightweight in Scotland and I'm sure that fight can be made as you manage Lewis and your close with Alex. If he is so superior prove it.. Your problem has always been you talk to much.. Put him in a 50/50 fight then we can all see just how good he is.. Molnar is not a competitive fight no matter how much wool you try and pull over anyone's eyes.. Also your comment about people knowing nothing about boxing you Claim Brophy is top 5 British SMW.. You deluded only see as far as your gym and give no respect to any other fighter.. Why does everyone leave you???
