The odds on this fight are quite interesting.

    To win by any method

    Jr 1/8
    Blackwell 5/1

The fight to go the distance 12/5
For the fight to finish inside the distance 3/10

I think Blackwell will try and push Eubank into the back foot and wear him down. CEJ's defence is poor at times. Spike landed some big, clean shots on Eubank that would have had many in trouble but his chin let him off the hook. Blackwell may not have the one punch power Spike has but he will be braver and more relentless catching the judges eye. However Blackwell needs to watch that uppercut he is so susceptible to! I hope and think Blackwell on points.

As for channel 5 showing it, I've seen ONE small advert which I think is pitiful for a great match up for British title.

I'm almost certain Eubank Jnr's price will trade much higher then his starting price. Big disparity in the odds, but it will be most likely closer then those prices suggest imo.

Good points. As well as the uppercut Eubank has a few " tricks" ....like when he spreads his legs in avert exaggerated wide stance and leans back...no opponent has yet shown how to deal with that.
Blackwell can't be slow paced, unmotivated, or too one dimensional like he has been at times in some of his fights or he will pay for it against Chris jr.
But if he is fully up for it I Think he just might be the first man to dominate Chris. This is the acid test for both men really.

Blackwell comes on strong in fights he always has done, never sets the pace Ryder fight prime example.I really like him as a fighter it's a very interesting match up.Blackwell a fighter fans should back because he doesn't call out names he fights them!

CEJ on points for me in a very interesting fight......had a one fight deal with matchroom it seems so at this point a one off fight on sky...who it seems were not too impressed after backing the SOS build up gloves are off etc.....the big build then walked away couldn't make a :deal

His lack of power was badly exposed against Spike. Confirmed what we suspected from previous fights eg Chudinov.

How anyone can call Eubank a power puncher is beyond me.
Looks like Einstein was right about human stupidity....

Eubank comfortable on points - 3/1 cannot be ignored.

Blackwell's improved with Lockett, will be in great shape and is very tough, so can't see Eubank having enough to stop him.

I think Eubank is happier in a war than a BJS tactical affair, by all accounts that is what it will be - If it transpires this way Eubank wins by stoppage in rounds 8-10

i've gone for blackwell to get the upset, bjs laid a blueprint and he couldve made that fight a lot easier.

aslong as blackwell doesnt take too many big punches he should take this on points

I wrote a small piece on my blog about this matchup, more so to do with the betting odds and why they are completely wrong for this matchup imo.

I'm not saying Blackwell will win (although I hope he does), however he certainly has a better chance then what the bookmaker's currently reckon he does.

    http://tennisalchemist.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/nick-blackwell-vs-chris-eubank-jnr.html

As for my credentials on betting, I run my own profitable (verified) tennis service on a popular betting/tipsters site and yes, I can prove this as I'm sure someone will say I don't :p.

Finally, what is everyone's predictions for this fight?
