Just because a fight hasn't been finalized, doesn't mean someone is ducking. It's tough to make that call because we may feel they're worth more/less than what they feel.

 

If someone claims the other fighter isn't a draw, then is scheduled to fight the guy, then all of a sudden can't make weight anymore and has to leave the division, then is scheduled to fight the guy again after he gets followed up to his current weight division, then claims that he has to get paid more or it won't happen..... You have to be a special kind of stupid to not see it as a duck. Walters is a complete *****.

 

Does someone have to be stupid because they don't have the same opinion or believe there aren't enough details to make that call just yet?

We don't know how long Walters has been wanting X amount of money, he didn't sign for X only to ask for Y later. Or maybe he's holding out until the last minute for more money, common negotiation tactic. For all we know, Arum could've opened his mouth prematurely being optimistic that the fight would happen before he even ironed out all the details and a contract; which he did. Watch the video, they were never scheduled to fight. They were never scheduled at 126 either.

At 126 they were scheduled to fight. When I say scheduled I mean there was a verbal agreement between camps and their promoter wanted the fight next. Same thing happened at 130.
They are not negotiating you moron, Walters is asking for money that isn't realistic. That means Walters is either living on another planet or is ducking. Based on their past and the times Walters has tried to dismiss Lomachenko, and has avoided the fight previously by eating himself out of the division..
