He wanted the fight but Kovalev turned him down. They both have turned the fight down. People like you act like it was all one sided but it was on both sides. Why can't you admit that when there are facts that can be easily posted to prove it?

Yes I do he wanted the fight last year but Kovalev turned him down. Just like I feel Kovalev wanted the fight back before he fought Pascal and Hopkins. Now that Kovalev has made a name for himself he's entitled to some easier fights and I have no problems with Duva getting some return on their investment. Boxing is a business at the end of the day and I never bashed them when they turned down the Stevenson fight.

 

Why would he want to make half of what an unknown (outside of the boxing community) guy, with 6 fights is making? They both have 5 title fights, and Walters has fought two possible hall-of famers.

 

Stevenson has ducked Pascal, Kov and Fonfara in the span of last 6 months.
