This **** boggles my mind. Do you honestly want serious debate over your list ?

 

quite a few of those guys were spcifically counterpunchers so they should be better at it than pep. i'd have him in the middle 3rd probably

 

They don't make fighters as great as Pep any longer.

 

Its not a serious post, fighters in different weights have different attributes as a whole. Comparing Willie against say Hammering Hank at feather or a little lighter McGovern are realistic comparisons, this list isn't. The other point here is Willie was anything but just a fine stick and mover and any who knows a little about boxing will understand what an understatement that is.

 

Boy are you right here. When boxing I tried for years to emulate his moves and never got them, there was only one Wil-o-the wisp.

 

I don't have a comprehensive rating system but in terms of timing, precision, and speed, Mayweather and Rigondeaux are near the very top of the counterpunching pyramid. I'd also have JM Marquez very high and add James Toney to your list.

 

I just got a rate fight of Peps that Ive never seen before. In it he fights most of the fight inside and was as slippery infighting as he was dancing on the outside.
