How do you make these videos again? I'm going to stop wasting my time arguing and throw some together some time.

Also, sorry to go on a tangent on your post but would you recommend any programs for making youtube montage videos?

Awesome. Streamable is so convenient. Whenever I'm watching footage on youtube I want to share here, it takes less than a minute to post a clip.

I use Final Cut. But I recommend something like iMovie for your first couple videos to better get into the swing of things.

No hwt champion beats Marciano with a jab. He fought too low, weaving.....not a great target for a jabber.

    Agree 100%.

A lot of his opponents seem to look confused as to how to fight him, because nothing works.

It would take a George Foreman, Sonny Liston, or Joe Louis to possibly beat him. And of course Ali would somehow find a way.

I disagree. Marciano was plenty jabbable, and would have had serious trouble against big men skilled at jabbing and moving. He wasn't a fraction of the bob-and-weaver of Tyson. That crouch might have lowered the connect percentage of some taller fighters but it also would have helped them more easily stay out of harm's way themselves. Watch the Douglas clip I put up and think about how Marciano would have fared against that style of opponent.

I think against that Douglas, Marciano would have been way more active than Tyson in punching. And his pace wouldn't simmer throughout the fight.

I think you underestimate the speed and movement of old fights. For context, look at the floor of the ring, and how much ground is covered in one round of a Marciano fight versus a Tyson fight. It's pretty interesting.

Should retitle it: "When a doughy, middle-aged man, in his 141st and last pro fight, paws with a jab against Marciano ... and then ducks most of Marciano's wild swings."

Also, I didn't see any triple jab in there ... unless you were adding them all up ... from both guys:roll:.
